Guides and Answers for Homeowners
Where to start
Close to booking? Read how to choose a company and what the work costs. Not sure anything is wrong? Start with the signs your ducts need cleaning.
Every guide here began as a question somebody asked us on the phone. What a clean actually costs, which warning signs are worth acting on, whether any of it helps allergies, and how to tell a real cleaning company from a service that vacuums the ends of your vents.
They are written by Daniel Hoss, who dispatches our jobs, and the numbers in them come from homes we have cleaned and photographed around St. Louis rather than from an industry brochure. Where the honest answer is that you do not need us this year, that is what the guide says.
Which question brought you here?
Each guide opens with a short answer, so you do not have to read the whole thing to get what you came for.

In the community

Call 314-900-3828, or request a visit below. Somebody looks at the system, counts the openings and gives you the price before any work starts. A $25 travel fee applies if no work is done, and it comes off when the work happens that day. Our own service page is residential air duct cleaning.
