SafeAir was recommended to me by word of mouth, a client of mine who suffered indoor allergies like my husband for the last year. We could not find a source of black mold anywhere, but his symptoms suggested it was there. We checked the attic (nope), bought four air purifiers and kept fresh filters, we use hospital grade MERV filter in our furnace, we cleaned regularly. Nothing was helping. I knew it had to be in the HVAC system somewhere but wasn't sure who to call. I am so grateful I called SafeAir. They were upfront with their services, pricing, and scheduling. They were clear on instructions we could do to prepare ahead of time (move furniture from vents). They arrived in the estimated window given, and our 3 technicians were methodical and thorough. Their crew lead Brendon M was well trained and well-spoken. He could answer all questions we had, was honest about what he found, what options were available to address the problem, the cost, and any veteran/military discount available. Most importantly, they found the source of the black mold effecting my husband so badly. It was inside the furnace itself and blew spores through the house before being caught by our MERV filter. The work to clean out debris, sanitize the ducts, seal nicotine tar from previous owners, and finally install an anti mold UV light inside the furnace took 6 hours rather than the 2-4 estimated but that is on us. We asked for the UV light install towards the end to prevent the black mold from regrowing in a year, and we asked many questions and talked a lot with Brendon and his crew. The filth and mold (both black and white in my HVAC is on me.  Thanks to the work by SafeAir, no one in the household has a nagging cough anymore.  My voice no longer sounds as if I was at a football game last night.  Even the dogs eyes are no longer irritated (the veterinarian is impressed and asked for the name of your company).  Technicians Arron and Logan advised me each step of the way.  I SAW what was in MY system either personally or after they stuck their phone into the part they wanted me to see.  So I know, 100%, that what I saw was in my system (not pictures from someone else's home so they could sell me more services).  I did have to go with disinfection, but it's been worth it every day to have clean, indoor air.
